Greets all,

As this is my maiden post to these forums, I would like to extend my salutations to everyone here.

My question obviously concerns purchasing Defiance for the PC. My problem is that I do not own a credit card, nor have any intention of getting one. I seek any online gaming retail site that is capable of (or willing to) receive payment of funds in the form of a direct internet banking transfer. To make it short n' sweet.. im a rabid LoK fan in Western Australia that wants to obtain the US PC version online. As such, I have money in the bank just waiting to be exchanged for this title as soon as possible.

If anyone here knows of any such online establishment that fulfills the aforementioned criteria, then by all means, drop a reply.

I thank everyone that has taken the time to read this thread, for their time.

Much appreciated.

Finest Regards
-Steve

I don't know if these are exactly what you are looking for, but try

www.gamestop.com

www.ebay.com

www.yahoo.com -the shopping, or auction section-

or even Eidos itself.

I hope one of them can help you

it may be easier to have someone order for you and give them the cash.

Yeah, you are unfortunately almost certainly not going to find a major (or probably even a small) internet retailer in the US that accepts direct money transfers.

I know they're popular in other countries (especially Germany), but not here. Overseas money transfers usually end up costing the recipient a hefty fee, and there is a lot of additional hassles with them because of additional restrictions after September 11th.

If you really don't want a credit card for whatever reason, the best you're going to be able to do is either find someone to buy it for you, or get a PayPal account and buy the game on eBay.

It seems that my fruitless searches have now been confirmed. Some Australian gaming retailers are announcing the release date of Defiance to be the 30th of December, which sounds doubtful given the date Chris had specified previously.

I'll just have to wait it out.

Thanks to all for all the help and advice and enjoy your Christmas and New Year.
