voice cut-outs

I don't know if there has already been a thread on this, but here's my problem: when any character speaks in the game, the speech is cut off at about half to two thirds of the way through. Has anyone else had this problem? How do I fix it?

I think that is something to do with WindowsXP Audio Codecs.

Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices > Hardware Tab > Audio Codecs > Properties > Properties

Gotta reinstall one of those. Don't ask me, I don't use XP much and haven't had a problem with it. Just thought this might help you on your way.
