Is there a strategy to kill these two hitmen?

Right after this big, BIG , room is filled with water, there is a room you swim to, and there is a hit man w/ a wrench, and another guy with a gun that keeps killing me. (They're near a lever. It's a small room.) I have a low life status and no more meds. I already killed the diver guy. Everytime I get there, he shoots me to death. What should I do?:o

Which TR are you talking about? From your description it kind of sounds like one of the underwater levels in TR2.

You really must learn to conserve your meds.
TR II can be played with only using two med packs. And those are only
used after two particularly health draining drops.
My only suggestion for trying to get through that room is to use your shotgun.
Have it selected before you get there and try to be as quick as you can in dealling
with the thugs. Good luck.
