I Need Help Quick!!!!!!!

(Level 1 Just after the cinematic where the vamp kills the guy who Umah told to help me.) I am at The Den and after using the coffer next to the glyph switch and killing the guard i go to open the gate and it only opens 1/3 of the way and slams back down. What do i do? did i miss a step?

Not sure, but it's probably one of the ones where you have to keep cranking until the gate is open all the way, then get through it before it closes again.

It got me too...just stand there and keep turning that wheel. The gate will open eventually. There are quite a few gates like that.
