I am having problems with the audio going out during gameplay. It will work fine for about 5-10 minutes, then the sound effects will completely go out, followed shortly thereafter by the music, then if I continiue to play, I will get a high pitched noise.
I am running:
Windows ME
AMD Athlon 2600+
Asus A7N8X - with integrated Nvidia NForce 2 Audio
1024MB RAM
NVidia GeForce FX 5600 Ultra 128MB
I have to reboot the system in order to get the sound working again. Any help out there?
