recommended video cards

Seems to me that the only video cards that would run the game at the frame rates everyone wants are the Direct X 9.0 cards -- I'm guessing that with the hefty fill rate requirements of this game, you'd want to be playing with at least an ati 9600xt, or a geforce 5700.

Most of the complaints I've seen so far are from people with Direct X 8 cards (geforce 4 ti, etc). I'm sure you take a sizable performance hit right off the bat...

I'm running a 9800 XT, with the same unpleasant performance results as those who are playing with non-DX 9.0 cards.

I have Geforce 3 Ti200. Amd athlon 1800+ Xp. Asus a7vkt33 Motherboard. 100gb of space And The game is running at wonderful 20-30 + Fps on almost highest options. And 800X600. i tried other resolutions and got no less then a loss of 5 fps.

I dont know why everybody gets problem with Fps when they have 3 times better computers that i have. But i do know That the game is working tremedously fine for me. :D
