1 QUESTION that needs answering

I want to change the mouse lag threshold on the default.ini in the DX:IW folder. When i change it to 0 on the text it won't let me save the changes to the same file, my comp. makes me change the name. I really don't know much about it. All i know is that i would like to get this game started without lagg. So can somebody elaborate on what I'm supposed to do, so the game can run good on my well equipped system?

default.ini is set to read-only. Right click on the file and open up the properties. Uncheck read-only, then make the changes. I would suggest changing in back to read-only after you've applied your changes, just to be safe.
