Windowed mode (can't get out)

Hello,

I just bought Deus Ex Invisible War to show off mah new ATI Radeon 9600XT and, needless to say, the game ran pretty poorly.

I downloaded the demo tweaker and used that, as I'd read that it also works with the retail version. Upon loading up the game afterwards, I find that it's now in windowed mode. How exactly do I change that (as I prefer full-screen)? Thanks.

I just had this problem for the first time. It seemed to be related to running the game with a different refresh rate to that set before launching (the refresh rate I had set for the resolution used in game and also 640x480 used for the DX:IW menus was different to the refresh rate of my normal 1280x960 desktop)

I would try making sure that the refresh rate defined for 640x480, for the resolution you intend to play the game in and the refresh rate you have defined before launching are all the same.

Of course you may have a totally different cause but its worth a go!!
