wouldn't be surprised, since they won't have to change the HUD or anything. it might depend on the success of the game on XBOX and PC.

That will be a bit more difficult. I am sure the PS2 doesn't support pixel shaders. They will have to redo the graphics code entirely for it.

If they do port if over to the PS2 then they'll have to do some MAJOR modifications to the engine to make it look even remotely as good as the XBOX and PC version.

PS2 might be good hardware but it's no where close to PC and XBOX hardware.

DX:IW port? Doubtful. They apparently had to cut back on the details just to get it to work on the XBOX so that should tell you how unlikely a decent PS2 version would be released.

it has been said that DX:IW won't be ported to PS2, since the PS2 isn't powerful enough.

however, there were rumors of a possible 100% PS2 game in the world of DX, which wouldn't be the same, but connected to the 2 other DX games (something like a DX 1.5)
