View Full Version : [SPOILERS] Anyone get the PSM holiday issue yet?

Just picked up mine today. Did you catch this…
How it Stacks up:
Castlevania LOI - 9
LOK: D - 8
DMC 2 - 7
WTF? I played Castlevania LOI, and yeah, it's good, but not even close to Defiance. DMC 2 is about right at 7. But come on. What are people smoking these days? Don't get me wrong. 8 is a damned good score (I gave it a 9). It's that they put C: LOI as a better game that bothers me. Your thoughts on this, or anything else LOK: D in this issue?

Yeah, I got the PSM holiday issue. They gave Defiance an 8!!! I personally it deserved a 9, or at least more than LoI!!! They called Turel Hash 'ak 'gik!!!

Yeah, I didn't understand how they ranked LOI better either, but whatever. I'm glad they gave Defiance a good score.
I saw at the news stand today that that version of PSM has a DVD with some kind of Defiance material on it. I can't watch it at work, but I'll check it out when I get home.

Well this is the first time Castlevania did a 3D game so give them a break and it's only a matter of opinion. Besides as long as we like it and it didn't get a score like the one gamespot gave it, who cares.
Sometimes bad publicity can be good. It gives the developers something to strive to improve the next time around. Think about, if no complained about those meaningless puzzles in SR1 would we have gotten those innovative puzzles in SR2 and if no one complained about the combat system in SR2 would it be the way it is now...

BUT THEY CALLED TUREL HASH AK GIK!!! UNBLOODYBELIEVABLE!!! Obviously they should've actually played the first four games and understood them before they checked out this one. They should've also understood this game before they made the issue as well.

They did that for the same reason that
they called Janos "the corrupted vampire"
to avoid spoiling players before they even had the game.
You should enclose your post in spoiler tags, BTW.

Yeah, I haven't had time to check out the DVD yet either.
Maybe today. And wasn't this issue supposed to have codes?

Umm no... I think that Chris said they would be in the January's number...
