Distract a distraction!

I have gotten as far as the second part of the tutorial where you have to use the spy to distract the guard in the embassy. The book and the tutorial mention a 'distract' button on the interface. This is a button I can't find. Please give me a hint as to how to distract the guard. Please!

in your character menu
at the right
press right moues button
then u will see a picture of a Nazi soldier and the spy
press on that with left mouse button
and then press on the soldier that u want to distract
this will make the spy start talk with the soldier and distracting him

watch out!
some soldiers in the game can reveal your disguise
espeically Officers!!!
