Ok, here what I think will happen at the end of Defiance 2. The murals in the elder god's chamber and the forges dipect the vampiric savior as a whole, noble creature. Raziel however has a broken body however, but also discovers at the end of the game, that it is Kain who is the Messiah, the Scion of Balance. The mural in the elder god's chamber shows a blue ancient who resembles Kain greatly. I think that the Soul of Raziel will merge with that of Kain's creating the hero depicted in the murals. I have a feeling that something along this will happen due to how often Raziel observes he looks nothing like the hero depicted, and how surprised Janos was to a see him in his current form.
Just a thought, what do you think? I also think Kain will be able to speak to Raziel occasional in the blade.

I had actually thought that too, about Kain and Raziel communicating with eachother still. As for your theory, it sounds cool. And very possible.

The blue masking is the way to go. Most of your text has spoilers for those who have yet to play Defiance. While that gamer may wonder into this thread reading the title Defiance 2 and unknowingly find out that raz gets sucked into the reaver at the end of the first one. The possibilites of what will occur in the next one are limitless. The story is at a point where anything could and most likely will occur. Raziel could easily be forced out of the reaver somehow and the same type of switch-a-roo gameplay could be continued, or Kain could eaisly dialogue with Raz while hunting down the Elder God and all else involved. However, it will be at least 2 more years before we find out.

You have a point as far as raziel or atleast half of his soul needs to escape the blade or there would in the end be an endless amount of raziels in the blade and thus would have a limitless power.

How's this for an ending next game? Kain fights Hash, inprisoning him back in the demon realm. He shoves the reaver into the balance pillar, the reaver and the pillars shatter, permanently locking the hylden in that realm, and standing there next to Kain is Raziel, fully restored.
Cool Huh?

Sorry, but if you wander into a thread titled "Theory on Defiance 2 [Spoiler]" not expecting to see spoilers, then you are an idiot and that is no one's problem but your own.

I think the point of my thread was that we have been told how to use the spoiler functions and we all should be doing so. I am just trying to show the mod that we are supporting the TOS here.

But there is going to be another one for sure right? I'm hoping... say two years from now.
When the next one does come out do you think it will be on the PS3 and the X2? Imagine what they could do.

I just wanted to know am I the only one that noticed that Hylden get away in Janos Audron body; maybe that would leave to a second Defiance

Did you even play this one because if you watched the cinematics then you would know that Raz fought Hash, becuase Hash was Turel
And if the Reaver shatters before he breaks it over raziels head then sould reaver one would never have happened and there would be all these inconstencies.

Yes I played it. I think the question is did you get it. Turel was simply a front, Hash was in Mortanius, and then at the end he was in Janos Audron. And the whole point of the series is the ability to change history. If he can't shatter it because of the future, then that means that the future will never change and Nosgoth will always be a corrupted land, and that means there's no hope. and at the end of the game Kain says
I finally had a taste of that bitter illusion... Hope. that's why it can happen.
jeez.

Here's a crazy idea if you think Kain is going to become an ancient - he already has merged with Raziel. Remember that when Raziel faded, he also restored Kain. What if the older version of his soul (the Wraith blade) went into Kain, healing him, while only the younger version of his soul went into the blade. Then whatever Raziel may have done to him may lead to Kain's next evolution. I'm scared to think though if Kain does get wings and the ability to fly. Cause in Defiace they have finally got a really really solid style of play working and integrating a flying playable character could cause a lot of problems. Plus, imagine playing the game with the behind camera angle while those huge wings obscure your view.

I feel sorry for Raziel because the Reaver exists on multiple plans of existence. Raziel trapped with in his own soul. Forced to live in multiple worlds simultaneously that would drive him to brink of madness. Perhaps even corrupting the Reaver blade enough to make it want to destroy its own self.
Raziel living in the sword see his chance to end all this. When can goes to strike Raziel down. Reaver Raziel tries to kill Raziel and himself at the same time. But only rejoins his former self forever living out the what fate has transcribed for him.
