I've been looking at a new video card for quite some time now, and I have settled upon the 9800 xt. I've heard some people on this forum talk about bottlenecks and all that crap, and I had a question. I have a 2.53 ghz P4 with 512 pc-1066 rdram. Will this processor prevent my video card from achieving it's full potential? I'm not worried about being able to run the game, I'm just concerned as to whether or not I should buy this card, if it won't be able to perform as it's intended to.

your fine dont worry. as a matter of fact ur system needs no upgrade for at least a year. thats a wicked set-up, plug in the 9800 XT and ur flying through deus ex with max settings. thats a good choice u made there. i wanted to get the XT as well but its too expense. figure ill stick with the 9600 pro
