Just figured I'd let people know that Kain's battle cry *has* returned. I had to hear it twice to make sure, but he says it.

So I thought, until I too used the evil 'A' word and was editted... :confused:

Anyway, back on topic, I can now confirm there are two variations. Both use the same pronounciation as Blood Omen, one is a lower more subtle (and evil) tone, and the other is more of a battle cry (though not as loud as the original).

How often does he say it? I don't think I could bear it if it's as common as it was in BO1....ugh.....

Nah, it's kinda rare in all honesty. Perfect usage, IMHO.

It doesn't have the same affect it did in BO1 though. The emotion just isn't there. It's great to hear it again though.

the only effect it had on BO1 was to turn the speakers off. Nothing more annoying then hearing it EVER. DANG. SWING!
ARGH! It haunts me.....

Just because a word isn't censored by the forum software, does not make it appropriate for this forum (and the people who don't wish to be subjected to that kind of language).

The firt time I heard him say it I was like, "wow, that sounds so cool!" (I never played BO1), but when he said it in that low growling menacing tone,

at which time I happened to be charging my reaver,

well, let's just say it's one of the coolest battle lines ever!
