View Full Version : A question to PAL gamers
What would you rather? Defiance be rushed out and have bugs in and big black boarders?
Or a bug free, full screen PAL60 version but you have to wait 10 weeks longer?
think about it before you start screaming at eidos OK? I can't believe the attitudes so many people have here because of a 10 week delay. I mean how many people have been banned in the last 2 days?
If the game means THAT much to you you can import it from America for a small cost of chipping your PS2 (it cost me £30 for a boot disc version and £32 for defiance)

I'd rather have a rushed release, because the PC version would not suffer from a NTSC/PAL conversion. :p

no, trust me. read the review from IGN.com and you PAL users will be glad to know that they may work on some of the issues you will be hearing some fans complain about. It will be you then that we envy.

Chris is not to blame for any release date pushback, and neither is Eidos. The game gets released when it gets released to give us the best product possible.
Shame on the people bagging him and Eidos, thinking he runs heaven and earth when he's busy giving us a heads up on things.
I'm a rabid LoK fan who hasn't slept in days, but being rude towards people trying to help you is inexcusable.

AFAIK, the PAL Defiance has gone gold. It's out of Eidos and CDs hands and the blame lies souly on whoever they gave it to for manufacturing. Whatever bugs are in it now will be there when we get it.

I'll order the US- version now for playing and in February the German pal for understanding.
But then I want a perfect Version;)

I wonder if Eidos will start using Xbox Live! to start patching their games :D

I wouldn't mind a bug-riddled game. As long as I'm able to complete it, I don't care

My point exactly- unless the PAL converters are suddenly authorized to mess with the actual game code, we'll probably get exactly the same game as the one released in the US.

Yeah I agree..... knowing full well that I did some complaining.
I know that it's not Eidos or CD's fault. The only gripe that I have now is that we might lose some bonus material. Still if it comes to the worst I'm sure we can live with it and play what will be a great game.
My opinion?
I dont care, like alot of NTSC players dont care about Pal users, I wont care as well now.
Im done....
I got a PC so I wouldnt have to worry about that system thing, but noooo here we go and have to wait 10 weeks.

10 Weeks waiting are OK if no bugs more in the game and if its failure free. but i dont know why it needs 10 Weeks ? Trasnlation has begon before weeks, and the NTSC-PAL Translation can be take so many time, or ?
