Ariel reaver

Does anyone know what happend to the ariel reaver? Near the end in SR1 raz saw into the future and he saw himself absorb her soul. I did't see raz do this in SR2, so does antone think it will happen in LOK:defience?

it goes into a lot of detail about all that. absorbing Ariel's soul was part of the steps Raziel was going to take to rid the world of all vampires forever. As to absorbing Ariel in Defiance... i never thought about that. would be interesting..

well it's possible because...1) it'll be the only way to mae her dream come true, to bring her death.2)i read somewhere that the makers are gonna put all the reaver they removed from sr1 to the other games.but then again, it might not be so because....1)the reaver is said to be the only thng able to hurt kain in the beta tpe sr1 which is the first made story line. any way, since kain is the main character then they ain't gonna kill him( get it? legacy of KAIN. also since raziel isthe only one that could use the wraith blade and the wraith blade is the only thing that can absorb ariel to form the ariel reaver, and raziel is supposed to die befor kain ( because the soul reaver is a blade that contain raziel's soul twhich give it the ability to suck souls, but if raziel's soul don't get sucked into the reaver, raziel would never have gotten the wraith blade, another form of his soul, the whole story lines gonna be changed, so he must e killed by the reaver.) raziel would never get the chanc to get the ariel reaver.im thnking that he won't ever get the ariel reaver because they changed time already, twice, and the part where he kills ariel been changed with in the flow of time.

I do not think Ariel will end up in the reaver because we are in th futuer right now in the LOK timeline and she has to be in the past to meet Raziel

I dont know if this is a spoiler or what but the Reaver don't kill Raziel it only imprisons him, and with the its host in the blade what will happen to the Rafe Blade form of Raziel. You see there has always been two Raziels all along:confused: :( :eek: :cool:

well, she is definately in the game, but i don't know what purpose it would serve... maybe to defeat some boss in the game?

(there arent really two raziels. raziel loses his soul to the reaver in the past, then as a wraith he regains it as the current soul reaver. its now a part of him, so raziel IS the soul reaver, hence name of series of games starring him.
its not as though he has two souls, because his unlife allows him to exist without a soul, thats what stopped him from dying properly in the abyss. no he has his soul again and it acts as his weapon.)

but back to the main argument, the ariel reaver wont be formed any time soon if kain has his way because the timeline has been altered, and kain will fight to stop it from returning to what it once was. though getting the ariel reaver would allow raziel his rightful power to command the pillars of nosgoth.

In SR1 we saw three visions of the future. The first one came true when we saw Raz escaping Janos' retreat with the Fire Reaver. So I'm thinking what if we see the second one come true in this game. That being that Raz strikes down Ariel with the reaver.

Yes there are, "Wraith" Raziel and the wraith blade.

If they're aren't two souls, then how do you explain the temporal distortion and resulting time-shift at the end of SR2? The only thing strong enough to change the course of history are the presence dual Reaver(Raziel) souls. In this case, the wraith blade and the emergance of Raziel's soul triggered the distortion and allowed Kain to change history.
