My list of shooting games is fast becoming formidable. This is definitely my favorite genre now and I’m now completely obsessed with owning all of the best shooters out there. There are a few that I am considering:

1. Dead To Rights (http://www.deadtorights.com/) ~ this has been re-released for about 20 bucks as a “classic” of shooters and is said to be similar to Max Payne. It also just came out on PC, so I think I may get that rather than the Xbox version.
2. Half-Life (http://half-life.sierra.com/) ~ I'm already excited about HL2 just from reading about it.. But I never played the original on console or PC.
3. No One Lives Forever 2 (http://nolf2.sierra.com/) ~ this is only for PC right now. I wasn’t that impressed by the first NOLF on PS2, but I’m thinking that the PC sequel will have much better graphics.

So those are the three I’m looking at right now. Any feedback would be cool. Also, I have listed below all the shooters I already own.

XBOX:

Ghost Recon
Halo
Splinter Cell
007 Nightfire

Ah yes, but the list has grown and it continues to grow ~ just picked up TRON 2.0, Kill Switch, NOLF2 and Crimson Skies, although CS isn't exactly a 'shooter' per se. I also meant to add MOH Rising Sun to the list of shooters to get. I think my next acquisition shall be Dead To Rights on PC. Looks like my type of game;

I do love my shooters, I cannot deny. While I haven't got a major amount of them, they're still enough to keep me going for a while. I've already got the following (on PC, of course):

Deus Ex
Quake
Sin
South Park
Unreal
Return To Na Pali (Unreal mission pack)
Unreal Tournament
Half-Life
Opposing Force (Half-Life mission pack)
Blue Shift (Half-Life mission pack)
Gunman Chronicles
Daikatana (which I still can't get to work. Never mind - it only cost me £3! :D )
Requiem: Avenging Angel

I will definitely want to get hold of the following:

DX: Invisible War
Quake 2 & 3 (played them before, but strangely I have yet to own them).
Unreal 2
Unreal Tournament 2004
Half-Life 2
Halo

I may look into others if and when I come across them. But I'm not too worried about any others right now.

Shooters? Plain old kill everything shooters?

Serious Sam-The Second Encounter is my favorite right now.

It's just fun, and I love all the colors they use.

I play a number of strategy games too, but shooters are my favorites. I have a rack of them, about 35 (not counting add-ons), going back to the Doom era. (Actually, I have them from before that, but bought them later.)
