I have the complete Series of Commandos, and I want to know why Behind Enemy Lines and Beyond the Call of Duty are not called Commandos 1 and 2. It does'nt take the brains of an Archbishop to work that out, so why did Eidos get it so wrong. The way I see it is this, Men of Courage is number 3 and Destination Berlin is number 4. Also, in Gamespy arcade, they do not mention the fore mentioned games, it's like they dont exist. (No Multiplayer game.)

The reason CBEL wasn't called Commandos was probably because Pyro didn't know back then that the series would be so successful and that they would make add/sequels.

Even so, once they decided to make Men of Courage it was definetly the third installment, therefore, it should be Commandos 3.

and the reason there is no option to play cbel, cbcod on gamespy is they dont want to add such old games. Mplayer had suport for them, but now it is dead.

I dont think BEL and BCD are dead. I think that because of the success of the Commandos series, there would be a regeneration of commandos fans. There would be no problem for Gamespy to do server as they play server for the game Sudden Strike and that has Three Games ie- Sudden Strike, Sudden Strike Forever and Sudden Strike 2. Notice they done the same thing as Eidos with the naming of the series. Please can someone from Eidos get BEL and BCD on to Gamespy because I think I would be right in saying Commandos will be reborn because the people who have Commandos 2 and 3 may not have knew about BEL and BCD and would now want to play them on multiplayer.:)

I think you've got it right there. And just to add to my last post, People pay for a game to play on line, so therefore, it should be available online. It should be up to the games manufacturer to make sure that it is available for there customers all the time and not when they cannot be interested anymore. I WANNA PLAY CBEL AND CBCD ONLINE NOW. Think someone should make a poll on this one or what guys.

That's just it, you can't play with IP's. Both BEL and BCD cannot connect to server anymore as it does'nt exist, and you can't host a game either. So, if you know different or if you know someone who does, then tell me. By the way, youre response is appreciated. Thank you.
