View Full Version : The game crashes! *POSSIBLE SPOILER*

I am in Hong Kong in the MJ12 lab in VersaLife and I have just uploaded the ROM-encoding. I started to walk up the stairs and saved about half-way up. Every time I load my game, the game freezes in a couple of seconds. HELP!

I take it you don't have an earlier save you can use?

If you don't have an earlier saved game to fall back on, try starting up the game in safe mode, playing through until you exit that level, saving and then restarting in normal mode (note that you'll like as not need to go back to the Preferences menu and reset your video and sound).

I got a reply from Eidos support (which I was almost surprised to see because the past couple of times that me and my friend have tried them they did not reply) They said to use a previous saved game because that one is probably corrupt. I always save on a new file so I have plenty of previous saves :D so I am going to go try that now. Thanks for the replies.
