In about 14 hours, 5:30pmPST, my long time companion, my best ever friend, my baby, will be euthanized. I will not be able to say goodbye to her personally, so I send my voice across the face of the planet into the ether via this internet. I hope she knows I miss her and love her.

Hi,

I´m really sorry :( and I can feel with you very well, because my cat died only 5 weeks ago and was also euthanized. We burried her in our garden and put some nice flowers on her. All in all, the grave looks really beautiful.

I can suggest to you that you do something like that, too. It really helps and you have a point you can "relate" to and you can fell that she (or he) is still there. It got me over the next weeks really well and I had (and still have) the feeling that she likes the place she remains now :).

Creating a nice wallpaper is also a way to say good bye and you have her still with you, though.

I created this one (http://home.arcor.de/daniel1705/mori_desktop.jpg) and it was a tribute to her.

These things helped me really and I hope you will also find a way to get along with her death. I wish you and your cat the best and she will always be with you, although you cant´see her :)

I was sent this by the vet surgery a week after I had to put my old dog down. And although I bawled my eye's out, it also made me feel a little better.
