Iam going to attempt a Silent Hill Level

Where should i start? How could i get the textures from Silent Hill 2? Is there a certain program to use that if i put my copy of Silent Hill 2 in the CD rom drive it grabs textures? Is there a way? I all so need some scary monsters as well and some new objects. Is there a way to get the Silent Hill 2 monsters and objects in to TRLE? Don't worry about the music, I already extracted tons of music and wav files. All i want to no is; Is there a way to get Textures, Objects and Monsters from Silent Hill 2?

Objects and monsters I really doubt, but textures are usually pretty easy to get from other games. What kind of files are on the disk? Start looking at what files there are, and what ones you think are the textures, and let me know what format they're in, I might be able to get you a program to open it. ;)

I doubt you'll be able to take the textures from SH2, but you can do it from Sillent Hill 1, all you need is a little program called PlayStation Media Player and the game CD, I think you can get it from megagames.com . After getting it, make a search for *.tim files and some of them contain the textures.

go a head and try but you cant make a silent hill game out of tomb raider. Silent hill has this feeling and atmosphere that somethign is always lurking in the dark. A subconscience nightmare that tomb raider just doesnt have.

if you could accurately remake the town it could be good fun to romp around for a while but i dont think you could pull off the same atmosphere. Im not trying to be mean its just the silent hill engine vs the tomb raider engine

and again im not doubt your trle skills its just they are very diff games
