On October 15th, China will be the third nation to independently launch people into space. A new age has begun for the People's Republic! Do not be suprised if they plan to put people on the moon sooner than expected! The era of the taikonauts has begun, and the poverty stricken cities of China will be proud to one day look up at Chinese rockets, in spaaace! I can only hope that this will one day help the 1.5 billion residents of what was and is one of the world's largest superpowers. Whether it may be new discoveries or the designs of new shuttles, this will be even more wood towards NASA's fading fire as well. I wish the Divine Vessel and her brave taikonaut supreme luck on the maiden voyage.

Lovely, but china is not a superpower. There is only one superpower the USA. It is not likely that it will remain the sole super-power for long though.
Anyway, good news indeed nd Taikonaut?

A logical place for a launch, it is close to the equator.

I too wish great luck to China.
The conquest of space will be the unifying goal of our future generations.

I agree. And I do hope that the U.S.A does not remain the only superpower - a single superpower makes too much of a dent in the world. Without competition America can pretty much do as they please.
Yes, for the finicky I do realise that this statement is wildly inaccurate in many ways. It's not innacurate in the context I intend.
