How can the intro be skipped?

I can't stand to wait ten minutes for the intro movie to complete each time I start the game. Is there a way to skip the intro?

You say ten minutes; I guess you mean the in game dialogue as well.
I don’t think it can be skipped. (The intro movie can be skipped with Esc I believe (if you're playing on a PC)).

You can't skippe it, I tried that with every button in every combination;)

in the PC version of SR2, you could download the patch where you could skip the first movie and first dialogue.
