I have a 1min:25 track that i ma planning to use in the future for my silent hill level..It's a spooky and scary kinda track that will spook you out! :D But i want the track to fade at the lst 5 seconds. The reason i want this to happen is because the track starts off really slow and spooky and ends really loud..So when playing in game right at the end of the track it is really loud and then all of a sudden when it is repeated, it just stops and goes to the beginning and it is really slow and spooky.. All iam trying to say that it stops suddenly and goes quite which makes the track so odd! when in game.(If u no what i mean) :) I want it to fade for the last 5 seconds of the track so it gradually finishes quiet and then starts quiet.. I don't no if there are any programs out there that will enable me to change the fading of certain areas of the track...If there are they will be Trial Versions..right?..And i won't be able to save them! Aret here any Trial versions that let u save and also change the fading of certain areas of the track? Or if i may not be cheeky :D:D:D coudl someone do me a BIG favour and change it for me? Just the last 5 seconds...

Thanks
TRF

sure, I could do it for you. I'm using Cool Edit, the best audio editing program out there IMO. they should have a trial version where you can save as well on their website http://www.syntrillium.com/

pm me and I'll give you my e-mail address to send the file to

Here are some good free audio editors.

Sound engine- I tried it and it's pretty good. Two real good things about it is it doesn't try to take over your audio files or write any registry entries.

Audacity- This one looks good but, haven't tried it.
