AOD Images and wallpapers?

I have a question about the new AOD images and wallpapers too come....

I really wasn't around when TR FIRST came out so I'm curious too know how all of Lara's images grew from just a few into the thousands? I know alot of them are fan art but with the new game just around the corner I'm wondering how eidos released them and how frequently?

Tomb Raider has been around since 1996.. It's 2002 now.
It's not that hard to imagine how many images could come about in that amount of time.
But really now, I never can get enough images of Lara!
