Yeah, Tiper, this place has gotten quite lively in the past few weeks.
Maybe you'll come back to stay? At least then there'd be someone who likes Ted E. Bear.

Post counts on the Eidos forums were disabled last year. I could dig up the rationale behind it if you'd like (I think I remember correctly, but I've learned to not trust my memory).
And no, some people find the bears and bunnies annoying. Who'd have thunk it?

(that might be why this forum is a lot more calm than others.)

Hey catman...I dont get it. Youve got your bunnies, youve got your bear...But wheres the cat? I mean surely you havent left out our feline friend. Especially since your name IS catman.
*edit*
I got you a cat catman. It's almost as cool as the bunnies.

hello every1,dont u guys get nervous/afraid wen u play games like SS2/Aliens v predators,i get nervous playing DX itself,am still in liberty island :(,i have a weak heart,i must admit that,i get nervous seeing the guards and u guys fight monsters!!!,gr8,can u guys tell any particular experience which freaked u out and from which game?,i heard ss2 is very absorbing too,but very frightening my friend would play the game only wen some1 else was there in that room and he would spend the nights thinking about organising his inventory...am still in liberty island ..:(.

Monkeys throwing fireballs. Undead hybrid crewmates wandering around with pipes and shotguns. Women mutilated into horrible cyborg mothers. Insane computers. Personal message logs from dead/missing crew mates.
That pretty much sums up SS2, and it's one of the most frightening games I've ever played. I love it.

SS2 makes me loose weight! The first time I played it I was mentally affected! In my humblest of opinions it’s the most horrifying (in a good way) game I have ever played. The thing that gets me the most is when the annelid men run up to you in that sad yet screaming voice, “Run, Run Away!” just hits a nerve of fear, that you know you opponents are still semi crew members and don’t want to kill you, yet the annelid is winning the battle inside there minds! Those voices of the annelids are way scary!
When you see the ghosts, wow, it could be a summer’s day and I would still be chilled to the bone, yet it is only software! Anybody who can use binary code to instil that amount of fear into the hearts of men is a true artist in my mind.
As for Deus, I get a different feeling, not of Terror but of a purpose and curiosity, but defiantly not as terrifying SS2.
