Rumored that Lara's house will NOT be appearing in AOD.
First Location:
1. You find yourself in the backstreets of Paris, weaponless.
2. You need to find objects and start gathering information and talking to NPC's.
3. You begin in a courtyard complete with ledges and latters for training.
4. Stacking some conveniently placed crates is your excape route from the courtyard.
Sidenote: Newbie perplexed by this puzzle will have a door unlocked for them so they can get on with the adventuring. Some of Lara's new moves included knocking walls down, punching, kicking, snapping necks & sneak attacks.
5. Lara has a quasi-psychic link to a Bedouin helper who gives her advice on where to jump, hang, etc...
After Training level:
1. The louvre. Built ontop of a castle the famous gallery's passageways and rooms sprawl underneath the main complex, allowing for plenty of traditional ledge-clinging, running, jumping, level-pulling, and puzzle-solving.
2. You start searching for the 5 14th century paintings that are critical to the over-arching story.
3. These paintings hide hidden clues to an ancient group -The Nephilim- .
4. Lara will uncover the involvement of the apparent villain Eckhardt. and is rumored to meet kurtis at this point in the game.
Second location:
1. Traveling to Prague, and it's atmospheric Strahov Complex. This is where the action kicks up.
2. You get to control Kurtis at this point.
3. Rumored that both Lara and Kurtis will be working together to solve puzzles simular to Cores Project Eden.
4. Both Kurtis and Lara will have access to the usual arsenal. Big hardware is said to be in the works. Kurtis will be using a disk-like weapon which holds 5 glaves, and has limited telekinetic powers.
5. Boss monster is encountered sporting numerous limbs for mulitiple attacks.
6. Gameplay enemies seen thus far, Large bug like creatures, mutant beings.
6. It has been rumored there are absolutely NO vehicles in AOD.
While viewing Captain Alban's Tomb Raider site I came across a interesting interview he had with Jeremy Smith. One question he asked that doesn't read to clear is if AOD will have vehicles, answered replied by Smith....."Perhaps"
That's it for now, but I'll keep you updated on any new information I stumble apon. Source PC Gamer March 2002
