WHERE IS THE SWEET SIDE OF LARA! Yes I know I'm yelling I am cracking it big time just read in PSM and it says
After going through the trauma of being left for dead in Egypt lara has reevaluated her life. Her tomb raiding days are over, and she doesn't give a crap about anyone or anything.
I know it's to develop Lara as a character but George Lucas doesn't suddently make Yoda evil to sell Star Wars so why should you do it to Lara. I just hope in the end Lara becomes her sweet self again that we all love. I will miss that side of her.
What is the deal with "fallen from the light" and Lara not talking to anyone?
Folks I know you say it's only a game true that is but Core said in Lethal and Loaded how they wanted players to care for the character this is the whole reason for this thread

Lara? Sweet? She kills animals, she steals priceless items, she shoots hapless security guards who are just doing their jobs, she frees prisoners who have been imprisonned for some reason, not just for nothing, she wipes out the entire population of a zoo, she pushes someone into a pit for a joke, she locks her butler in the freezer... Oh, wait... and there's one more thing... IT'S ONLY A GAME!

Sometimes you have to reach the very bottom in order to pull yourself back up to the top.
I know its rare to have silly things like character development in video-games (it would be like trying to include it in the Star Trek series for instance *shudder*), but lets wait and see....it could be ground-breaking and/or groovy.
And when was Lara ever sweet?!

Thanhkim.
mind them, im glad that Lara is still her sweet self, but it's more hidden now than ever.
She's less tolerant so she gives crap about nothing. If Lara doesn't talk to anyone, it's probably because she's saw what her headstrong character has done for her in the past, almost got her killed, she's afraid she'll say the wrong thing to the wrong person and wind up in more trouble then she bargained for.

I think that lara is a whole new person because she had a really, really, close call. Then seeing her own grave and her family and friends weeping over her. Then a whole news report on TV about it all(it was on Chronicles in the begining). I'd be freaked out and get all dark too.

And when was Lara ever sweet?! When I mean sweet I mean an inner goodness like when she helped that german dude from the sub and other folk like that. If Core take that inner goodness of her character away then they are simply destroying a great character. She is definately not normal sweet she is really quite mad, hehe.

She is the same person just put in a different situation, plus if you were framed as a serial killer you wouldn't talk to anyone either.
