View Full Version : Blood Omen 2 - Meridian Map?

Hello folks, after several hours of scouring the internet, I have been thus-far unable to find any screen-shots of the opening-cinematic to Blood Omen 2 which features the map of the meridian area.
I'm trying to compile information on the Nosgoth area to redraw a map of what we now know is Nosgoth, by including area elements from BO1 and BO2, possibly adding the SR2 map as well in later additions.
But in order to do this, I need the few shots of the meridian map from the cinema. If anyone can gather this for me (or crystal-dynamics willing) the actual -art- that is the map of meridian.
Thanks well in advance for anyone's help.

Okies. Tried to take some screenshots. Kain that sneaky guy always tried to block the map with his hand. Heh. :D
Oh well. At least I got something, despite Kain's evil hand.
Hope these help. They're in their original size.

Excellent excellent! That's -exactly- what I was looking for!
Alright, with all of the resources I have now I should be able to reproduce a quality professional Nosgoth map with all of the current locations added to it.
This should be a fun project ^_^

Since we're both working on the same project, maybe we can help each other? :)
I'm glad those images helped.
Kain and his pesky hand! :D

Sounds like a plan, no sense in dividing our efforts eh?
If yu wanna contact me to see if we can combine powers on it, my email is lucent@thevortex.com and you can grab me on AIM at LucentShade
I already did a little cut n' paste job to try and get a defined coastline for western Nosgoth by splicing the bo2 maps you go, then took my tablet and traced it. The shape of some of the lakes and rivers is different from the BO1 and BO2 maps, and some mountains were added to the areas, but its not too dis-similar. The only thing I'm really lacking is a description for what all of the points on the BO1 map are.
Get in touch, we'll see what we can do.

Hi!
I'm also trying to do a map of Nosgoth!
Does any of you have a SR1 map? That's the only one missing.

As far as I know there isn't a Map for SR1. Blincon could probably correct me on that however.

darien_specter and Azrael put one together awhile back. You may want to get in contact with them to see if they can provide you with further assistance. :)

Matt from spam buddies , those are great links of BO2 maps , that seems to be the hardest map of Nosgoth to find, at least for me! Probably because they show it so fast in the intro to BO2!

Why thank You. :)
Yes, I indeed intended to draw all the maps by hand for my own use, but now that I see many people are working on it, I think we really should combine our powers. :)
I'll get in contact tomorrow. Have to do a gazillion things at town today. :(

More map makers?! :D
I too took time to map out Nosgoth. My map only featured locations from a certain time, however, as I planned on creating multiple maps for each period we see. However, my map was put on hold very near to completion, and it's hidden away somewhere amongst the masses of clutter littering the spare room. :p
However, if anyone's interested, I can attempt to dig it up and get it posted here... ;)

I'm definately interested to see how yours turned out Raz. I'm hoping to turn the one I create into an online atlas of Nosgoth that you can shift into the various timelines ^_^
Pop some images up so we can see what kinda' madness you have done ^_~

That map4 image shows a razielim clan flag. Interesting....
xarax,
that is not Raziel's clan symbol, it's Kain's. Here's a compilation of all clan and forge symbols:
