The Max Payne franchise stays true to their PC roots. They'll be releasing for the PC first - then for the consoles. Possible release of "MP2:The Fall of Max Payne" as early as September. Realistically, end of the year IMHO. Anyways here's a render

That's not Max Payne. Looks like an imposter.

Is it possible to die from an overdose of truly outstanding games? Good God, this fall and early winter (basically Sept through December) is just going to be pc gaming nirvana!
HL2, MP2, DX2, Thief 3, Doom 3, Halo, Painkiller, Stalker and probably maany more I've forgotten!
uuuuuhh, except now that I think about it at least a couple of these are distibuted by Eidos (Thief 3, and DX2) I think which is a bit of a scary thought considering Eidos' recent trackrecord. But I'm assuming that at the end of the day it's really the development company that makes the difference. Are any of these games Core games?

So I take it that a release date for the PC version of AOD hasn't been announced yet? Was hoping the controls would be much better on the PC version. Very pissed about the control format on PS2. Most horrid configuration I think I've ever seen on a game. (except for maybe Fighting Force ;) )

Nope. We're safe.
You forgot a few other potentially cool games: Syberia 2, Broken Sword 3 and the next Longest Journey game (still untitled, and probably not by this fall, but it's on it's way! Finally!)

Cool! Another Syberia fan! (thought I might be the only one on this board.)
"See you later, Alligator"
"In a while, Kate Walker."
