or maybe the game is just waiting till you get to the final boss and right before you deliver the final shot to kill the beas the game will freeze and you'll have to restart. Then when you try to reload your game you'll see that it has been corrupted and you can no longer play. and must start over from the beginning only to get to the end and have it happen again. don't go getting too happy. it'll happen eventually.
