Le Serpent Rouge Bugs

I found a major bug in Le Serpent Rouge. Because of it, I had to start the whole game over. After you "dispose" of the guy in the
office, one of the items that you pickup is a set of keys that is used for the door at the bottom of stairs next to the entrace to the dance floor (you have to go through an unlocked door to get there). If you save or pause the game after you pick up the keys they will no longer be in your item list and therefore can not open that door.

Has anyone else had this problem? or perhaps had it happen elsewhere? Is there a way to complain to Eidos directly?

I really hope that this kind of bug is rare. This game looks really rushed. I hope the next one is better. If not, I will not purchase another one.

So you couldn't go back to one of your previous savegames?

Didn't have that problem, but I could tell you that it wasn't required. You never have to go back down there once you get to the control office. That key was for the ticket office, and I don't really remember, but it was just for some ammo or money. Provided you didn't delete your save, you could continue on, but I think you did. Oh well. When you get there at least you'll know where you can get some extra stuff, eh? :)

I now have 7 saves running at any one time so I can go back to various stages in the game if required. I am one of those people that try to get everything that I possibly can.

I am now paranoid about saving the data and checking my inventory throughout the game. Who knows if a bug like this will come at a time where it is required to use the item to continue.
