I read that Tomb Raider 6 was really more beautiful on PC. Do you think my machine can support the game suitably with...
-Pentium 4 1500 MHz
-64MB Graphiccard NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400
-Sound Max (but don't mind)
- +/-3Go harddrive space
-Windows XP
-256 Mb Ram
...?
But i've a PS2 with a Home-Cinema and asks to me whether it would not be better to benefit from the music and the screen TV... (and I prefer the lever with the keyboard frankly)
I'm French, so, the game will be in stores on the 2nd June (hope so...) and...i'm sorry for my orthography... ;)
MERCI !

After what I have heard...
DON'T BUY THE PS2 VERSION!!!
Hold your breath and maybe the PC will be great!
And yes, you will be able to run it. Don't forget to download the new detonator at www.nvidia.com
It really does give improvement!

Ethereal - I've got my 128MB Nvidia Geforce 4 Ti-4400 hacked into thinking it's a Quadro 4 750XGL. I use those drivers to perform better in Autodesk Viz. Do you think TR:AOD will do better if I get my card back to Geforce drivers? I used Rivatuner to do the hack.
My box scored 12,000 in MadOnion 3DMark 2001 with the current drivers. I'm thinking I should be good as is - but I read somewhere that the Quadro drivers are optimized for 3D rendering and the Geforce drivers are optimized for gaming, so I'm not sure which route to take. I've sort of tailed off on learning Viz of late so it wouldn't be interfering with business or anything...

Click on Graphics driver, then on Quadro and then on the operating system you are using. Then click go.
Then look in the table. Under 'Current NVIDIA' is your driver.
I recommend this very much. Nvidia drivers give often alot of improvement. I often had that a game went laggy on my PC, but after I downloaded the newest driver it went supreme.

Why not? The ps2 version has bugs, if you have a good PC then you have the game without the bugs. Cause those bugs are only caused by the suckyness of the ps2. And on the PC you can always hope for a good patch that fix the bugs! Also I think the mouse-keyboard controls are way better.

It won't be that much more beautiful with a GeForce 2 MX Card. And that is what Freefalling wants to know.

Thanks Ethereal and GoranAgar. I think i will bought it on PlayStation2 when it will be in stores (In Europe the 2nd July i hope). But, could someone tell me if there's an option with the game for the sound option : DTS/Dolby Digital 5.1/Dolby Prologic/etc... ? Because I have the installation for, and I particularly like to be immersed in a game by the surrounding sounds. Tomb Raider offers these option ? Or better: did somebody make the experiment at his place?

I dont think there will be a major difference in the Pc and PS2 version. There usally never is with any game. I know the graphics are and gameplay are better but there scores dont normally double or triple from Pc to Ps2. All i can say is i dont know how the controls will be for the Pc. Thats usally the reason i dont like playing games on a Pc. I would rather take the slight graphic and gameplay fall and be able to sit where ever the heck I wanted then be stuck behind a computer for 3-4 hours playing. Also is you play it on Pc you will not get a version without any bugs. All games have bugs none are perfect. To what Ethereal was saying and quote "dont buy the Ps2 version after what i have been reading" What exactly have you been reading because so far i havnt came across one thing that will make me return the ps2 version and get it for Pc. Now since i have been playing it for 3-4 hours i defidently will not return it.

No no no Ethereal the PS2 dont suck atall, its one of the most popular game consoles out, get your facts right, and no i arnt saying it cause i have a PS2, cause i have a very fast PC too. I can play AOD on either one easily, but i would rarther get it on PS2 instead of using keyboard and mouse. Wow some bugs and a few slowdowns wooopy do major tragedy(cough cough not)i would rarther stand a few bugs and play it on PS2 thankyou, and like i said i can play it on PC or PS2 so you carnt just say im sticking up for PS2 cause i can only play it on that, cause i can play on either:D
