I'm a big fan of TR, but this is just too much for me to handle. Why should I be keeping for almost half year €64 to buy the game for PS2, waiting for it to be released, and then, it is delayed again. What's it going to be now? Another 2 or 5 months delay? I have other things to do than playing the games I own(Airblade, Frequency, WRC2 and Burnout 2) for the 3rd time while I wait for TR.
Sorry Eidos, you won't see my €64 at least in the next 6 months. I'm going now to the store and buy Silent Hill 3. TR is nothing but a dream that we hope that comes true.

PS: Eidos, why couldn't you just have released the game tomorrow? Sorry, but you missed your chance.:mad:

Thank you Netslider. You just proved a point for me. I'm not just one guy whining, I (we) am a representative of a group of people who have had enough and refuse to shell out our hard earned money to a company who can't even decide when they are going to sell a product.



The Empire State Building took from ground breaking to ribbon cutting exactly 10 months to build. Don't tell me it's out of their control. If they wanted it done it would be done. They are a bunch of slackers.

And as I see it the official count is 100 dollars they are going to loose this quarter. Or however many pounds our European friend said times 2.

Sorry to sound like a jerk, but Eidos is now becoming a source of amusement for me now, with TR's many delays and FE 3's cancellation. I can either laugh at them, or gather rocks and look for Eidos office windows to throw them through. I choose to laugh. This is a joke. It has to be....................At least Konami's Cy Girls game will fill in the void left by the departed FE 3.

Like Netslider, I too have been saving my money for 7 months now. Guess what comes out tomorrow? Resdient evil for the PS2. I will just have to get that and Clock Tower 3 and Silent Hill 3. By the time I am done them, Fatal Frame 2 will be out. I read on another forum that someone at Gamestop actually told someone that the game was not going to come out this week because of the competition with the New Harry Potter book being released on Saturday. Is that not ridiculous?

Of course i know I will get AOD when it is released, if it ever is released, but enough is ebnoug already.

I was so antsy when I heard it was coming out before Christmas of 2003.(FINALLY IT"S HERE!! AFTER THE YEARS OF WAITING)
Then I was excited when it was no longer delayed and it was coming out after the holidays.
Then I was happy to hear it was going to come out in April, tired when i heard it was coming out in may, and finally just relieved that it was finally coming out on June 18 (20UK).... (end of delays...so I thought)
...Now I'm just bored, and not really excited to see the game anymore, it just finally wore off.

I can't wait for Silent Hill 3. From what I've seen, Silent Hill 2 even had vastly superior graphics over TR-AOD! Not to bash Tomb Raider, but Silent Hill is just incredible.

I'm already playing Silent Hill 3(for those who don't know it came out already in Europe) and I'm loving it.

This can't be true! Fear Effect 1 and 2 are my favourite games after TR and I was waiting for this impatiently. I heard that is was put on hold, but canceled? Eidos, sorry but I'll hate you the rest of my life for this.:mad:

Don't get this one, unless you like the idea of having a big thug with the inteligence of a fly going after you from minute to minute and your fear meter gets maxed and you can't run 'cause you're just to scared to run. When I began playing it I liked it, but after about 15 minutes I was anoyed for having that hammer guy running after me.

By the time I am done them, Fatal Frame 2 will be out.

Do you know when is it going to be out? I loved the first Project Zero(This is the European and Japanese name for the game), I went through it 4 times already. Ialso have a trailer of Project Zero 2: The Crimson Butterfly and loved it, shame it doesn't have sound.

Well, I just hope that I won't regret buying SH3 instead of waiting I don't know how much time for TR:AOD.

And does anyone think about why they delay a release? I'm glad Eidos gives the developers the time to debug properly, in stead of pushing them to deliver an unpolished product, as is usually done. How many games have a brilliant concept but are ruined by rushing for the deadline causing bugs and half of the ideas deleted ?
When I buy a game, I want to see it the way the developers wanted me to see it - a game with bugs is not what it was supposed to be, so if they ask for more time, it's only for the best...
Are you that much better off buying a game and having to wait for the next patch before you can play it properly anyway? :confused:

In the US, Resident Evil Dead Aim is due out today. All the sites and stores still say today. I was shocked myself and knew nothng about it until I walked by a Gamestop and saw a big sign.

As for Fatal Frame 2:Crimson Butterfly, the release is set for the end of September, beginning of October for now.

I wish they would port ALL games to ALL consoles & PC. Now that there is 3 Major consoles, not everybody has ALL the consoles. Key word here folks is ALL.
ALL we have is an X-box and pc.

I don't mind if they release the game so late, what anoyes me is the fact that they say that the game is coming out a certain day and the previous day of the release the game is delayed. If they don't know when it can be released, don't say anything until you are sure and let us live our lifes without that desire of the release day coming faster and the need to save money that we end up gathering for nothing.

You might be lucky. I once saw in a games web site the rumour that Capcom stoped producing games for Game Cube due to the low sales and that it might release the Game Cube games in other platforms to earn some money and compensate the production costs.

Yes, that's all well and good before a game goes gold, but once it has been pressed there is no excuse for any delays. That's why I'm so frustrated and confused by this latest delay.

My local Game store in the UK says the 20th on the board, but I called a couple of days ago and they said it was unlikely it would be out that day, possibly by the end of the month, but possibly not ever.....!!!!!!!

Still I must admit I'm starting to think like that too.........

It's all very well and good for them to get the game polished-perfect, but come on. Originally it was coming in for August, then they took it back for bug checks. All fair, we don't want a crap game. Then it's delayed again, to get rid of more bugs. Fine. Then, near the Febuary, guess what? It's gone back again. Makes you wonder why they didn't take these bugs out the first time round. Then the game goes GOLD, but no, they delay it again. I mean, enough is enough! No game can be perfect. And if they are having trouble fixing bugs, they could set a realistic release date which they know that even they'll be able to meet...say November 2006 or something.

You know the really weird thing? Just after the first delay, when they'd moved it to November, I wrote a spoof article for a newspaper in IT, about how it had been delayed again to August 2003. I think it's coming true.

I hope your pc is good, my Palm Pilot has better graphics and functionality than my Xbox. Not to mention that the Palm Pilot fits on a shelf.
