Since so much negative reactions and doubts on this board, do you still have faith in Tombraider Angel of Darkness?

I'm more interested in the game now it's gone gold, but I'm really not sure if it will be any good. I'm hoping it will be, of course. :)

... only because I would have preferred "I'm cautiously optimistic".

No, Aod has not gone gold, you must have read that IGN article, well, they are full of crap.

I wonder why Eidos is not giving away any material to magazines or game experts to review? no previews at all... No, I'm not talking about videos, but actually a demo for experts to try...
That's a bit frightening... yeah, yeah, the game looks good, fans are having parades of over-excitement and more; and to be hones, I'm also hoping it is great... but still... after all the time, and all the delays... and all the cr... Aren't they confident enough yet to put out a demo?
Ummmmm...
I guess I'm gonna have to consult my dark sourcerer and my vodoo master, he, he...

I have faith that it will be a very good game IMO, but It just won't be the TR that I know...
Taking a wait and see approach. After AoD comes out I'll check out reviews and player thoughts and experiences.

In the last edition of the Official Playstation2 magazine (UK) they claim they will have the world exclusive first review of AoD in the next edition. That's due out about a week before AoD. I think that might explain why we aren't seeing any other reviews elsewhere. Eidos have promised them the first review.

I know, I was looking through my July GMR magazine and they don't have anything for it...not even an ad for it...
Probably in August's edition....
And I can agree with everyone who are going to wait for the game to come out and see the reviews. If you are disappointed once I can see where you're coming from.
Then there's me...the day it comes out, I'm lining up early to get it!!!

Ooh I forgot....
if I'm at the end of the line....as soon as they open the doors I"m going to yell "Look! There's Lara Croft!" ... then they'll all look, and I'll run right into the store ehheheheh

There are some major projects this year and if all or any should not be as good as expected, lots of fans will cry out and feel miserable (referring to T3, TLOTR: ROTK and of course TR:AOD)
So ... let's have faith, but let's not think of it too much, ok?
