Well, having finally finished 12 years of school on Friday the 23rd, I'm finally done. Yes that's right, no more high school. So this thread goes out to all graduated/ing seniors this year: We did it, we're done, now let's live it up for our last summer before college (for some of us), well, when we're not working. Congrats and good luck to all the others out there. Have fun

Anyway, I remember sitting on the front steps of the school, in the third grade, thinking "geez, at least there's only 9 more years of this *****"... little did I know...:rolleyes:

LOL, When I first saw her thread (after I had posted this) I wondered if she were graduating too, till I looked at it. I figure college won't be nearly as bad as the crappiness that was hs. It took forever, but it's done. There were some good parts, I must admit, be at least I'll be going to college with at least 3 of my really good friends (including one of the top 3 closest ever), and a couple more that are casual friends.

Another graduation has come and gone? It seem just yesterday I was graduating in 2001. Time is going by real fast now.

Oh dear! It wasn't even in that decade! :D

Actually, my 3 high school years were so good! The years before that sucked, but I had so much fun in high school! Me and my friend were always in trouble! I remember one time we locked up 8 of our class mates (all boys) in a small closet and turned off the light! They were so mad, and we were so scared we thought we could never let them out! One of them had an upset stomach... Made them even less happy! We unlocked the door and hid in the garbage room for an hour before we dared go out again!

The retaliation was bad! They drowned us in snow! I think we deserved it! :D Happy days!

I just finished my highers. My friends and I burnt our books t oget closure.

Its very odd for the time in years there isn't a little voice in my head going : "Why aren't you studying????"

Unfortunately my schooling isn't over yet. I am going back to do Advanced highers next year.

Then it will really be over...

Really, Congratulations! You now enter the most fun part of yur life, the time between HS and having children, a mortgage etc. Make the most of it! :) For me, I had six years of HS, 1975-1981. The first three years I can't remember (see date, above:o ). I was known as a "burnout" in HS, though several of the coaches wanted me on swim team and track & field. I preffered to investigate "being", instead. Hence the 6 years! (doh) I finished 296 out of 300; 4th from the bottom! I was offerred a scholarship just because I scored so low (I think 297-300 had died!:confused: ) Anyhow, enough. Have a great summer!
