Do you have another link? I'm not willing to sign up just to get two frigging game vids. (Call me a cheapskate but I'd rather spend my money on a game from the bargain bin instead.)

well... in one part you see her go through an opening and there is wired cage behined her.. which blocks the whole view and then bam a guy appears.. you wouldn't be prepared for this scince the camrea sucked.. and you can tell when jeff was moving lara he sorta waited for the camera angle to change so he can see what's in front of lara not behind her...
was just watching E3 live.. the first thing gs guy talked about he was standing rightatthe eidos booth and there was a clip behind him (cutscene) of lara and kurtis doing something.. I'm not sure what and then a really odd seen of either lara shooting fire coming out of her hands or lara geting fire shot at her...
anyways back to the video I was talking about one more thing which I should point out lara killed a guy in 1 shot without being hit at all.. just bam! he's dead.. *dumb A.I.*
hopefuly all this will be worked out in the final version the camera and A.I. .... :(

Fire being shot at her. I read she nearly dies (by fire) when she meets Kurtis (Curtis, whatever), guess a criminal's on the loose

Now that we know that the release date is June 27 and not June 20 let's hope that they will spend that extra week by fixing the damn camera and the AI.

They'll probably be hosted elsewhere gefore long: Gamespot had 9 'exclusive' video clips of half-life 2 in action at E3 and within 30 min of them being made available to the public on their pay site they could be found all over the net in various nooks and crannies... :D
That last video prior to E3, the one with Lara looking for a respirator in a gas-filled building, also saw her take a be-gasmasked goon down in a quick burst of fire. So thankfully it sounds like they've removed the endless-hail-of-lead approach to the combat. It's a good thing. :)

no not reallly A.I. is dumb... he just died there in like 1 shot.. although in the past tombraiders enimies were a bit too... POWERFUL... but still this enemy A.I. just stinks IMHO and only IMHO

Personally, I would not be upset if they delayed the game until Cradle of Life debuts in the theaters.

Originally slated for a release this past November, Angel of Darkness was pushed back until early 2003 for re-tooling. Now it looks as if the game will be ready within the month. Rumor has it that the controls weren’t up to scratch, that the camera proved to be problematic, and that Lara keep falling out of her top. Core has promised to tighten things all around, so hopefully when it hit store shelves fans will welcome Lara back with open wallets. from UGO
The camera problem must be really bad..

This is also an E3 review for AOD regarding camera problems.
GameSpot-
Graphically, the models and environments look just fine, but the game currently has some pretty serious camera problems, which occasionally prevent you from seeing the action at all. Also, the game's graphics are really quite jagged, giving the game the look of a much earlier PlayStation 2 game in some spots. Hopefully both of these problems will be worked out before the game is released.

Actually I don't feel that worried about the camera. You have to steer the camera on the PC yourself. So I think the laggy camera is only an issue on the ps2. On the PC it's your own responsibillity how you steer the camera I believe. If you steer not good, you can create an iritating perspective for yourself.

I HOPE that I won't have to steer the camera myself. I prefer the ass-cam that always snaps behind Lara. No more Empirical Indy controls, PLEEEAAASSEEEE!!!

The camera is not that BAD! Get over it if your not getting the PS2 version then don't worry about PS2 movies of the game. Controlling the camera isn't that hard on PS2, you just use the right thumb stick. Plus I swear Core said that you can pick the camera you want. And about the A.I. complaints, If I shot you with a machine gun you would fall pretty quick too. Now since Lara is the main character its alright that she gets shot millions of times and doesn't die(not that anyone complained about lara being shot).

Just remember that what made the camera suck in Empirical Indy was its combination with the controls -- press left and Indy ran to the left of the screen, press back and he ran towards the camera, etc. All of which meant that if you ran him forward while turning the camera around he would move in a circle -- the camera could affect the movement, resulting in a lot of mistakes and often (in my case at least) oodles of frustration over losing the opponents.
TRAOD's controls are still the familiar run forward, hop back, turn left/right mode which means the camera's angle/movement won't matter regards Lara's movment. We can revolve the view to our black little heart's content and she won't be doing anything stupid. plus it appears it will snap back to the asscam when not in use.
