In light of recent reviews from E3 what is your opinion about AOD ?

I'll play it and judge it myself! That's exactly what I'm going to do. I think many reviewers are biased. Not every game needs to be a technological breakthrough.

Well the games definately gonna be good but i wanna judge for myself, as Xander said, a lot of the reviews are biased.

The problem with the less than stellar reception at E3 is that with TRAOD being delayed by nearly a year the game now looks nothing special compared to others currently on offer (ie., HL2, STALKER, Doom3...). Unless they're willing to break it all down and build it all up again using a newer more confabulastic engine (aka Duke Nukem Forever -- which has happened twice now) it's never going to get rave reviews -- better they release it quick as bug free as possible.

Some positive news from E3:

Speaking of bad feedback, no franchise needs a shot of wake-up more than "Tomb Raider." ' The new title, "Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness," ' certainly has the looks to be a huge hit, but looks have never been Lara Croft's weakness. An interesting twist is how Lara's skills adjust to your style of play basically, the better you are, the better she performs. And with the pressure that's mounting for this game Lara had better perform.
