Where have all the threads gone?

Oh boy! Anyone else noticed the large number of "dissapearing" threads on this forum over the last few days? I can count at least a dozen ...... :rolleyes:

I reckon the moderators "delete" keys must be glowing red-hot with over-use! I just wonder what the subject matter of these dissapearing threads had in common? Actually, not too hard to guess....

BTW, Mr Goran, that's a neat trick of leaving your PM box full, so you can't received any more PMs from people wanting to know why their posts/threads have been deleted. Very clever.

So you see, I didn't delete any of the precious AOD Delay threads at all. I merged 5 of them into one and I did it about 8 hours ago, so "the last few days" and "a dozen" is a pretty inaccurate observation on your part. But thanks for asking.

About my PM box it says: "You have 0 unread messages and 23 total messages in all your folders". There must be a problem with the software, I'll talk to Grey Mouser. Sorry for that.

Also, dennis, why don't you use your real username to talk about your little concerns? ;)

Good grief! Well thanx for the rapido response Mr GA! I don't really understand the quote above as I've only posted on this forum using my moniker "dennis".

Just in case you think I'm a bit paranoid, you should know that about two weeks ago, searching the forum database showed I had 80+ posts here. Today I've got just 2! I mean, where's the other 78? :eek: Paranoid? Moi?

And yes, it's very handy to have all the posts gathered in one thread, but on reading the thread it still looks to me that all the posts with the harsher criticism have been "despatched" somewhere else, where the more sensitive TR fans won't be offended.

Ah well, I'll give this thread about another 6 hours before it's stomped on. :rolleyes:

RedLegg or Grey Mouser must have purged old threads then to reduce the size of the database.

The fact that your account only shows 2 replies but a one year + membership made me kinda paranoid, so I assumed the account you use now serves as an alias. ... yes, it happens. ;)
