bo 2 bug?

hi everyone! a huge thanks to everybody that replied to my plea with help in fighting the sarafan lord! only one prob i have tried everything that was suggested to me but still no success! i always get past the 1st stage then i end up using immolate when i,m fighting but always the SL constantly blocks me ive been doing this for quite a while now & am getting very p****d off with the game now, i am beginning to wonder if there is a possibility of a another bug in this game as i have discovered quite a few already,has anyone else had this problem or is it just me?:confused:

It sounds like you're using one of the other attacks. I'm not really sure how Immolate could be blocked.

The Prima guide for BO2 says that Immolate won't work on the last part of TSL. I don't typically use it myself when fighting.

Right, during the last part you can either just beat on him or use Berserk or Fury. It sounds to me like doc is stuck at the part where you have to Immolate him like four times though.

hi there i am stuck at this part, the reason i suspect a bug is before i reached this part my game crashed! & i started back where i had to fight a few hylden & meet up with vorador & janos after which the game nearly crashed again!! i am thinking of starting over again & see what happens,if it does happen again this game is going straight in the bin!(cant get refund i bought it second hand):(

I am 99% sure it isn't a bug. I have never heard of anyone having technical problems with that boss fight. I still don't understand what you mean when you say he's blocking Immolate.

that,s exactly whats happening! as soon as he,s over the edge & comes back kain & SL go 1 to 1 i,ve checked a few walkthroughs they all say the same thing use immolate(this is where i can,t get to hit him as he constantly blocks me) a few times get the SR then use beserk after that game over! i am beging to think i,ve been done by a certain dealer,either that or it is a bug:mad:

It's not a bug. You just need to time your attacks and blocking right. Block for three hits, then dodge left or right. Repeat until the rage meter is full. Use Immolate until you get the Soul Reaver, then do the same thing but instead of Immolate use Berserk or Fury.

I believe it's five hits before you have to dodge. Also for the final stage of the battle it's pretty effective to grab the TSL and stab him, does some serious damage.
