Basically, my friend and fellow Porsche 914 owner has ALS, which is Lou Gehrig's disease. I have helped him rebuild his 914 over the last year. His health is rapidly declining and he is in need of an electric wheelchair and wheelchair accessible van. He is 28 years old, married, with a 1.5 year old son and a one month old son. Electric wheel chairs cost around $8,000. Vans are more. People at the 914club.com web site have started a donation through paypal to help out with the costs of everything. So far we have generated $4000 for our friend. If you have the means to help out, please visit the links provided and read through it. It is simply amazing what we have generated so far, and people who dont even hang out at the 914 sites have donated what they could. Even Porsche 911 guys have helped out!
So, if you have the ability, your help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You, Chris Reale (Common)
