I don't know if I count as a "hardened" level editor, but I have been around a while. I don't intend on leaving any time soon.

I'm still here - always will be. I'm currently suffering from TRLE withdrawal symptons because I never get enough time to sit down and complete my unfinished epic... :(
Some of you may be interested to know that TRT / Mirai has relocated from Tokyo to London. He is currently looking for a flat in London and in the meantime is enduring an uncomfortable mattress in my spare room. :D
We have been discussing silly TR ideas, such as doing a mini-level which is wired up to a treadmill and weights machine(!) - so that when you run forward on the treadmill, Lara runs too, and when you push the weight, she pushes blocks around. :D
We were even thinking about how much fun it would be if someone built a huge REAL outdoor arena filled with massive rubber building blocks so that we could make outdoor levels that fans could come and play (the traps would have to be fake of course). :D
Of course, it's all just dreaming, but if there was a real adventure park where you could actually play the part of Lara I think it would be very popular. For those of you who are old enough to remember 1970s / 80s UK TV programs - it would be like a kind of "It's a Knockout" Tomb Raider style. :D

Wow....interesting ideas! :D
Good to hear about Mirai :) Is he still working on TRT, or is it gone? There are over 3 more levels on his trt site (http://wisdomcore.com/trt) that haven't been released....
Still here... but not for long if the level editor will keep making stupid errors. I mean, how can a level crash when you just add and texture one more room? That is an outrage! :(
ETux don't you dare disappear - I need you to test my levels!
And you can't give up now, you've been working on your levels for months, a lot of people will be very disappointed if you don't finish them.:(

Iam here!:D
God knows how many times i have visited the site in the last month. About 4 or 5 months ago i didn't really visit the site that much because of building levels and playing them. But now i am going to concentrate on the forum and some custom levels and give building them a rest. As you may have noticed i have been posting alot in all of the forums.

Seems to me there's a lot of people who are taking longer and longer over level construction, and most won't ever see the light of day, and that's sad.
I'm just as bad, each time I think I'm getting somewhere, I change my mind and start over, and the current idea has 254 rooms at the moment and is just starting to crash (some of the rooms are quite complex) but I think I can handle it. :D
When I first started, I made a level in four weeks, but I guess there are so many levels out there, and really excellent levels, that I think we're getting too fussy and maticulous about our ideas. We all just want to be number one, or at least produce something that lots will enjoy......... aargh paranoia :o
Good to see Mirai decided to join us here in the UK WBM, nag him for another level please :D
Jackie, your PM box is full, but I am testing your level :D

Hi Dhama and Chronicles5,
Mirai has also fallen in to the trap of attempting huge levels which need too much time to complete. We've talked about the fact that we both haven't been able to finish our levels because they are too ambitious.
Now that the custom tools allow level designers to do practically anything, it seems that levels are getting too big for just one person to complete! So, we decided to try to solve this problem by both working together on a little level. We're hoping to have it finished in four weeks.
So, a new level is on the way. :)

Sue, even if I should quit level building sooner than you would, I most likely would still play many of the custom levels and would be glad to test yours anyway.
Giving up now that the levels are almost done wouldn't be smart from me, so I guess I'll just have to split the level (again  ). That would make 6 levels without counting the title sequence now. And to think that this just started as a double level *sigh*
I guess I just have to take a small break and will have to look what I can do later.
