It was such a nice day yesterday (Saturday) that I could not resist popping out on the bicycle along the Thames and taking a few spring photos.
Thought I'd like to share them with all my friends around the world. :)

But first, I could not resist showing you one of my cats in his favourite sitting spot.

As usual your photographs are stunning. Thank you for posting them. I envy the serene look of your surroundings. I'd like for mine to be half as beautiful. :)

Staticon, that's so sweet! I wish my cat would lay like that, but she's afraid of heights, so she doesn't like to be held (unless you are sitting down). She fell off a balcony on the third floor, 11 years ago when she took one of her daily strolls on the railing, only this day it was raining so it was wet...

I showed her this picture and asked her to sit like that, and she said "Yeah, when hell freezes over and birds fly into my mouth!" :D

You have so many flowers already! Here it's still brown, it'll be a few more weeks before have daffodils. And the weather forecast promised snow for tomorrow! :(

Am informed that nice pink flower whose name escapes you is !...' Ribes' or 'flowering current'

Shame the sun isn't like that here today.

Thank you for sharing these nice pics with us, staticon! :)

I wish Spring would get here (NJ, USA). It's trying. Yesterday and Friday we had temps in the high 60s. Today it is cold (40s) and rainy with some snow. Bleh!

Tks for posting these beautiful pictures, Staticon. You have a remarkable talent with the camera!

It's autumn here in Oz, no daffodils unfortunately but the colours of the leaves are amazing.

I just got all nostalgic....I used to live just across the river from you.... I miss my walks beside the Thames and the bars on the riverside near Caversham Br, especially in the summer.

Nice photos. :)

Thanks. Glad you all like them. :)

Solange - Have you tried hypnosis on your cat? :D

thediva - I'll have to make a note of that for future reference. Thanks. :)

Susan - Glad the pics bring back memories. The river is still there, as too, are the bars. Just bear in mind, the Thames also flows through London so you are still near our beloved river. :) You just get it a few days after it was here. :p

Stunning as always. :) And I'm very jealous that you have that type of scenery all around where you live. :) Especially the Thames. :p

I can't wait for it to actually be Spring here, well at least for it to start acting like it's Spring. :p

If I could find a good digital camera, I'd take some pictures for everyone. Just to get an idea, we have 2 feet of snow.

You are so lucky. We have had no major snow here since 2000 when we had approximately 2inches. :)

Those are really beautiful pictures, Staticon! I love the spring...and it's started kinda over here. It was like in the late 70's early 80s last weekend! :D Then it rained. But it's nice again, so yay! I'm happy. :)
