Ok, DMC2 may have sucked a little, but the new 6 inch action figures of Dante, Trish, and the Marionettes by Toycom rock! I just saw them on the back cover of the latest issue of Toy Fare magazine... there's also going to be a resin statue of Dante sitting atop a pile of empty Marionette torsos, leaning on Alastor and holding a shotgun. Check out www.toycom.net/The_Web/Devil_May_Cry.html for more. Wear a bib to catch that inevitable drool, though.

Sorry, no exact street date. Toyfare just has them down for release sometime in May.

There are two very important reasons for not including the new characters for action figure status.
1) this is a Devil may cry 1 collection, PERIOD.
2) Devil may cry 2 is a steeming pile of................
Well, to be blunt, it SUCKED!!!!!!!

Hey, I'm a Cow and Chicken fan too! LOL!
I would like to see a figure of Dante in his DMC2 duds, though. That outfit was probably the only really cool thing about that game (sigh). The Phantom would make an awesome figure, if done to scale (maybe a little too massive).

I was curious on where I can find the figures. So far all I got is the price for 1 set (Dante/ Trish & the marionnettes) that costs about $60. GameStop has one listed at $149 to be out next week (couldn't find the set on their site). This is the one that has Dante sitting on a box or something.

I got Dante about a month ago, it was £10 here in UK, I got it off ebay. I notice there is a Dante & Trish set going on ebay for US at the moment at approx. $24 (ends about 24 hours from now).
I quite like my Dante figure but found it a bit lacking after the LOK ones, i.e. about half the size of Kain and Raz - and you can't pose him.
The resin one looks awesome.

It does, indeed. I think I might just have to invest in that one, myself. http://www.imagemagician.com/images/rook/wayfarer/blue_cool.gif

Could have been better if Todd McFarlen did it. Just seems too clean and non expressive to me.

That's one thing I will give McFarlane, he puts out some quality action figures/statues. (In a consistent manner).
