AOD gonna be R16? [Archive]

I was at the local gaming stores website today and it said that AOD on the PC is gonna be R16 whereas the PS2 version is only an M15+.

Can anyone confirm the details they're giving? And/or say why AOD would be R16 on the PC only? Sounds exciting! Glad I'm getting the PC version.

Different classification ratings...restricted 16, mature 15 etc.

Like you get at the cinema.

Pfff, who looks at those ratings anyways, it doesn't matter at all. If a seven year old kid would go to the store to buy mortal kombat, they'll sell it to him no matter his age.

Doesn't matter to me, because I'm 17! :p ;)

It wouldn't make a difference what AoD is rated, people are still going to buy it regardless.

That's not true, at eB we don't sell r16-18 games to people who aren't of that age, hell, we don't even demo games with those restrictions! It's gay but it happens.

Personally I'd like to see AOD as an r16, why? Provides realism!
