i'm having difficulty previewing a mapmaker level in story mode. It was working fine up until a day ago, but now it won't let me get past the loading screen. The other modes work fine (such as deathmatch etc), but with the story preview, every time the loading bar gets to the end the gamecube crashes.

Has anyone experienced this? Can anyone help? I'm getting distraught, and i have enough trouble with my Mac crashing. Last thing i want to deal with is a Gamecube that crashes.

Mine used to crash when I would put more than one game-logic instruction on any one tile. I stopped doing that and it hasn't crashed since. Give it a whirl lad.

You might also want to save different versions of your map as you're making it so if it decides not to load you can go back to a previous incarnation and not have to start from scratch.

I've thought about that actually. But i then thought the crashing might be a memory thing and so deleted my earlier versions. I guess i'm learning from experience
