If you could choose the release date for AOD, and it had to be at least 5 days from the time of posting your reply, what day/month/year would it be?

Mine would be:

March 16, 2003. Just enough time to get shiped over and paw over the box before my birthday :D

March 16 is an excellent date! I am really worried that AOD and Enter the Matrix are going to come out at the same time. And both are extremely important to me.

now. geez that pre christmas release is looking pretty stupid now isnt it? that was months ago. are they rebuilding the entire game? something major must have happened to create this kind of delay. not just a bug. a game overhaul. something really wasnt right with the whole thing to create this delay. so i think it may be a long time before we actually see it. as if they scrapped it and started from scratch again. so dont get your birthday hopes up. maybe by your next one it will be here. but i wouldnt hold my breathe for that either. its gonna be a while. im sure of that now.

ok heres the scoop...

Inferno is back again to give you info you would never get before

the playstation 2 console could not handle the Aod graphics so the game crashed. the decided to strip down the ps2 version untill there is no more crashing and so that the frame rate ddosn't dr under 20 frames per second.

The pc version Is DONE .... the just can't release first because sony has the contract right now. and the aggred that they will releasae a ps2 version before any other.

This means it's completely independent on the fact they finnished the game or not. As a matter of fact I can choose what day they finnished the game.

That doesn't make any sense, they said they had fully playable levels. And the games graphics caused it to crash? BS! If Konami could put games like MGS2 and SH3 with those beautiful graphics on a Ps2 and not cause it to crash, so could Core. I think the only reason the game is not out is they are making sure there are no bugs and or they are waiting to release it with the movie to cash in on its hopefull success(God I want to see the TR2 movie trailer on the 28 of March!).

1. That is such a crock of ****

2. As mentioned, MGS 2 works fine; so does Xenosaga with it's prototype dual-layer (reads both sides together so one side can have cut scenes and the other side can have the game play), Final Fantasy X, and many others.

3. If the delays were the result of them wanting to strip it down from what was promised in November, gamers would demand the heads of EIDOS execs on a stick. I don't think they would take that risk and don't believe you as a result.

HEHE @susan ,,, from my brother who knows nothing about the game and claimed that it burned the console.. I can't bealive i actualy bealived him... but hey I was right about the frame rate thing but instead of 20 it's 60..;) .... wow huge difreance Mafia on bros pc which can run and play unreal 2003 at 3 times the minumem requirment ,,, mafia is 30 frames a sec.. on a ps2 AOD is 60... WOW
