i no this might sound very out of place on this boars but, i am totally new 2 custom levels, and no 1 i no can answer my question, so i was hopin 1 of u lot can,

Q wot do i need 2 play other peoples custom levels, and where do i get em from?

Welcome!

You need the tomb raider level editor of course. It comes with tr chronicles, but you can also download it from the faq section in this forum.
You can get custom levels from http://www.trle.net/
Mostly you only need to place the files in the correct folder (script in trle folder, tr4 in data folder). But that's different for each level so you better try the readme. Mostly it explains enough.

so, r all these levels that people have made dun usin tr5 level editor? becuz i seen, these levels b4 and they look pretty complex, and normally level editors aint complex

although the LE comes with TR5, it is actually the editor used to create TR4

Try also www.mprager.de - they've got loads of levels and you can send your own reviews after you play them (and read other people's reviews to be more aware of which you really want to play).
I'd also advise www.tombraiderchronicles.com cause their many levels come with the flydrive program that makes it really simple to install and uninstall the games. Anyway, they've been having serious bandwidth problems lately and it's been almost impossible to download - or when you get a queue it's really slow (it wasn't like that at all just a short time ago). You may still try it but I must say their site seems to be unreachable today...

i just checked the FAQ (tab at the top)and could not find anything on downloading TR Editor.

Is there another FAQ post or something that links to the download?

Some 'select' levels come with the 'Exe' so you don't need the Editor, However these are often bigger downloads as the playable TR4 file is compiled. Usually having the Editor you just download and compile the various files to create the playable version.
