i came conincidentaly along this funny "bug":
1. open the console.
2. type in "giveall"
you should now have all weapos, ammo and armor.
unholster the desert eagle and drop in on the floor.
now take, for example, the silenced beretta.
and here comes the "tough" part: shoot as long with the beretta until you are completely out of ammo for it (clip=0, rest=0).
now take up the desert eagle into your left hand. start shooting and have fun! as you may notice the desert eagle now reloads automatically.
you can also take the sawed off shotgun into your left hand when given or other weapons with which you can fight "two-handed".
your ford
PS: i don't know if this works also with newer versions than the first released version of hitman. if not, downgrade to an older version. it would also be interesting if this works with hitman2! i haven't tried it out yet...

quiet ain't it :D
The zero ammo thing seems unnecesary. The offhand gun always reloads automatically regardless (for me at least).
Perhaps this is the difference between versions

yes, but you don't have to waste time with reloading anymore- when the right gun's out of ammo you still can shoot with the other one - without waiting for the right-handed gun to reload... yup, probably different versions ... :D :D
so it didn't work at all with your version??

Oh, I see what you mean. Since the other gun is empty you never have to reload it so the off-hand, automatic reloading gun never has to pause. I didn't actually try it properly since I couldn't be bothered shooting through the 1000+ ammo giveall gets you :D Usually I just use a large magazine gun in the right hand (beretta) and a smaller in the left (sawnoff etc) effectively getting fourteen or fifteen shots with whatever is in my left hand before I have to pause and reload the right hand gun. But I'll have to try your way sometime.
Another weirdness coming from doing giveall is with two handed weapons (folks might know this already). When you use the cheat everything (shotguns, assault rifles, even the minigun if it's in the level) is concealed in your jacket.
Normally, pull one out (a shotgun, say) and then try to pick up something else two handed and you'll drop the shotgun. But instead equip a shotgun/assault rifle then equip another one from your giveall-ed inventory and the first will switch to the offhand (and look really odd sticking out there). Then switch back to the first one and the second gun goes back into your shoulder holster.
Has little tactical use that i can see, but it looks really funny stuffing a minigun back into his jacket anyway.
