TR Chronicles. Help me.......

Hi guys and girls. I need help here. I am absolutely going crazy, and so does my husband.

We are stuck on Black Isle. We have captured the beast in the water, been inside the mill and everything, and are now standing on the roof of the house the ghostrider takes the priest into. (you know) Where shall we go next?

We have tried to jump onto just about everything, but we are getting nowhere. Is there anywhere to go from the roof, or is there something we have missed?

Please help us. We are in desperate need.

From the sound of it, you are near the end of the Black Isle level. This is what you need to do next (copied from Stella's (http://stellalune.com/TR5walk/oldmill.html) web site):

Follow the passageway to an opening in the hillside overlooking the BARN. Take a running jump to the whitewashed block on the left. From there, take another running jump to the flat, white square on the barn roof (this is where you are). Walk to the front left corner of this flat spot and take a standing jump to the jutting roof above the barn door. Walk to the other side and take a running jump to the next flat square on the barn roof. Walk to the front left corner of this flat spot and carefully line up a running jump to the corner of the flat roof on the small mill. Do not press Action during this jump or Lara won't make it.

Once on the mill roof, you lose control of the Look button. So hold the Walk key as you maneuver around. Crawl head-first toward the small opening below the pointed roof. While holding the crawl key, press Forward and Jump to somersault through the opening into the room below.

Once inside the small mill, find the gear on the wall and turn it (Action).

Then watch the final confrontation!

From my personal experience, as well as some other people's, the somersault can only be performed if you press the Action key (Ctrl), along with Crawl and Jump. Good luck! :)

yeah this took me forever to actually be able to crawl into that tiny opening... the camera scene wouldn't change with a "look", either, until i was staring at the entrance from before i landed on that (last platform) roof. then i kept trying to crawl in backwards, and she wouldn't do it.

well, i like that forward flip from a crouch though :) i keep trying to do it in the previous games until i remember she can't.

Yup, that forward flip is unique to Chronicles. I wish it were available in TR4; then we would have it in the custom levels, too.

It sure is annoying to have to turn around and back out of a crawlspace every time.:(

The animation is actually included in TR4 just not used.
